Stringer’s cottage is a really rejuvenating and peaceful place to stay amongst nature. The cottage is well-equipped with all necessities and is just a short stroll to the cute Walhalla town centre. We had a great stay and look forward to visiting again!

Anna’s instructions were very clear and made our stay a great one. The Cottage and Walhalla itself is a great place to relax and unwind. We had the perfect weekend and would not change a thing.

We had a magical stay at Anna’s delightful cottage. The location is at the further end of town, but is still within walking distance to everything you need. I loved the fact that there is no TV or wifi and we enjoyed our evenings talking, reading and listening to music. Anna has provided everything required for an enjoyable stay and I loved all the lovely personal touches. We certainly hope to return in the future.

We had a great mid-winter’s stay at Stringer’s Cottage. The cottage is cosy, clean and has everything you could need. We spent our days sitting by the fire, cooking, reading, playing music and drinking wine. Walhalla is a picturesque, quiet town to unwind in, and the cottage was the perfect place to spend our escape from the city.

We absolutely loved our stay at Stringers cottage. We didn’t want to leave. It is so cosy, and the area is just beautiful. We were having a mid winter break and the fire was just awesome. Anna provided all the details we needed for our stay and left us to enjoy our privacy. I would recommend this place to anyone, we hope to go back! Thanks

Charming that’s the word – sitting around the fire in a most cosy cottage is pure joy in this age of mobiles, social media and gadgets too numerous to mention. On arrival we were met by a fire already set and for that we thank the cleaning staff.

The perfect getaway! Gorgeous cottage, very clean and well kept – it was the perfect escape to enjoy the simple things in life. Cute and cosy with an extremely comfortable bed and a gorgeous fire place! It had a really good vibe and we will definitely visit again.  Our stay was too short!

This is the cutest little cottage there ever was. My girlfriend and I both enjoyed drinking wine, sitting in bed with the fire going and listening to the rain on the tin roof/reading a book or two. However, we didn’t find any gold, which means we will have to come back soon.

The listing was just as listed, and the instructions for how to work the cottage were really helpful. Walhalla is a place like no other in Victoria, quiet and quirky – it has a lot to offer. We spent our days reading next to the log fire, sleeping in and waking to the sounds of bird life. The walks in the surrounding area offer peace and tranquility. I would highly recommend staying here.  The cottage was incredibly cosy and was the ideal place to relax.
