The charm of the town and its people is equaled only by the charm of Stringer’s Cottage.
In every way, this stay is magical. The drive through the mountains, the cemetery on the hill, the potbeolly fire and the curious wildlife make for a truly wonderful window into Victorian highland life.
The train rumbling by gave it an atmosphere unique to few towns, the creek below bubbling away to score a very relaxed affair.
Walking distance to great cafes and the Wally Pub (which was perfect for a few).
All the cooking utensils and cutlery etc one will need to prepare any meal they so wish.
Our host was extremely helpful with all of our queries.
