Mark – September 2017

The location was excellent. We were able to walk into the sleepy town and do a half-day round trip of the place. It is a stunning part of the world, all mountainous and lush bush. We brought our own food, which worked well as we were there on a Monday and places to eat were few. We were very happy with the cottage itself. Pictures are accurate: It’s beautiful, tucked away with a lovely view of the creek and surrounding bush. We were kept warm by the open fire and there was ample wood for burning (we needed to chop some larger pieces for kindling, but my partner and I like chopping wood). the Currawongs kept us company, as well as a Superb Fairy Wren obsessed with fighting it’s reflection. I highly recommend this as a place to retreat, recuperate and rest.
